Realme launched Realme 7 in india on Thursday for a very attractive price and is an upgrade worthy over its successor Realme 6 which was launched a few months back.
Realme 7 was finally launched in India as thereby making it launch before anywhere else in the world, which is the first for us. It wasn’t long before that Realme 6 was launched with Helio G90T and captured the Nation’s attention with a sleek design and 90Hz refresh rate. The highlight was getting Salman Khan on board however it was an unfortunate timing, colliding with Covid-19 that it failed to see as many numbers.
Realme 7 has been launched in post Covid era with much of the anticipated features as highlighted in leaks and the details Realme CEO Madhav Sheth shared in his tweets prior to the launch.
Processor
While it was known much in advance as to the processor powering Realme 7 which was going to be none other than the World’s first and New Helio G95T and it has lived upto the expectations and though an upgrade yet is slightly higher in terms of its specs compared to its predecessor Helio 90T.
You can see below the AnTuTu Benchmark scores of the two devices with their respective Helio G90T and Helio G95T pitted against each other:
Display
While there isn’t much of a difference in Benchmark scores of the two processors, what is unique about the device is its Display quality and the overall build. The Matt finish 6.53″ FHD+ display comes with a dual tone design at the back and is devoid of fingerprints and smudges. It is easy to hold in hands and fits the palm really well. The refresh rate remain same at 90Hz but with 120 sampling rate. The phone has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.5%. The fingerprint is on the sideways to easily unlock the phone or verify encrypted messages.
Color Variants
It comes in two colors – Misty White and Misty Blue, while the latter is a slightly dark shaded blue color, the former is less of white and more of shining silver. The phone has a dual tone color at the back of it which goes through its camera panel.

Making the Realme 7 available below 15k makes it a very attractive choice in this mid range segment competing with the likes of Redmi Note 9 Pro, Poco M2 Pro and its own sibling Realme 6.
