Realme launched Realme 7 Pro and Realme 7 in india on Thursday for a very attractive price and is an upgrade worthy over its successor Realme 6 series.

Realme 7 Pro was finally launched in India thereby making it launch before anywhere else in the world, which is the first for us. It wasn’t long before that Realme 6 Pro was launched with Snapdragon 720G and captured the Nation’s attention. The highlight was getting Salman Khan on board however it was an unfortunate timing, colliding with Covid-19 that it failed to see as many numbers.

Realme 7 Pro has been launched in post Covid era with much of the anticipated features as highlighted in leaks and the details Realme CEO Madhav Sheth shared in his tweets prior to the launch.

Processor

While it was known soon enough basis the leaks about the processor powering Realme 7 Pro which was going to be none other than the Snapdragon 720G and though it lived upto the expectations on Realme 6 Pro, an upgrade on this front was expected as part of ramping up the series.

Is Realme 7 Pro Worthy of a Pro – Let’s Find Out

While it may seem a little disappointing at first to see the same previous generation Snapdragon 720G which powered Realme 6 Pro on its elder sibling. However there is lots more which still makes it worthy to be Pro and an upgrade. Let’s get to know more.

Display

Just like Realme 7 what is unique about the device is the Display and the overall build Quality of Realme 7 Pro. The Matt finish 6.4″ Super Amoled display comes with a dual tone design at the back and is devoid of fingerprints and smudges. It is easy to hold in hands and fits the palm really well. The phone has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8%. The fingerprint is embedded in the display to easily unlock the phone or verify encrypted messages. The chance of Amoled Display in this price segment so far are next to Nil.

Camera

The camera on the Realme 7 Pro same as the Realme 7 with a Quad Core set up with Sony IMX682 sensor and is a welcome change against the Samsung sensor on Realme 6 Pro. The primary sensor being 2nd Gen 64MP with 8MP Ultra wide angle lens alongside 2MP macro and 2MP B&W Portrait camera. Sharpness of the 64 MP camera has been highlighted to be as good as 108MP.

The selfie camera is powered by a single 32MP in-display camera.

The phone also features the Starry Mode for the 1st time in the mid-range segment, and an upgraded Pro-Nightscape Mode that has been optimized basis user feedback.

The phone is powered by a 4500 MaH battery and 65W SuperDart Charging capability which can charge the entire phone from 0 to 100% in 34 minutes.

Color Variants

It comes in two colors – Mirror Silver and Mirror Blue, while the latter is a slightly dark shaded blue color, the former is a combination of a light blue tone and shining silver. The phone has a dual tone color at the back of it which goes through its camera panel.

Now with the Super Amoled Display, 65W Super Dart charging and 64 MP Sony IMX682 sensor, Realme made sure it’s a worthy upgrade over Realme 6 Pro. Let’s find out more as the price is unveiled.

Price and Variants

Realme 7 Pro has been launched in two variants – 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB for an attractive price of ₹19,999 and ₹21,999 respectively. As compared the Realme 6 Pro came with three variants starting with base variant 6GB+64GB besides the aforementioned.
